Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is a changed man...
At least that was part of his theme at the annual Super Bowl Breakfast this past Saturday.
He spoke publicly about his faith in Jesus Christ.
(Former Colts coach Tony Dungy was with him)
Vick told the group that God was again the first priority in his life.
"I feel I'm in the back seat now and God is in the front."
I pray for my Brother in Christ, Michael Vick, and thank God for another of my Brothers in Christ, Coach Dungy.
Don’t forget the “reformed” criminal Imams
But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.
Philippians 1:17-19
Overheard comment at my Super Bowl party
“I’m cheering for the Colts, their coach is a rookie, and he’s black.”
“You want someone to win because he’s black and has no experience? Didn’t you learn your lesson about that in the presidential election?”
Trust but verify..
Sounds like he has come to think on what’s really important in life. Not to say what he did was excusable, but I thought it rather sad that pro athletes who hurt people got off so light compared to him.
“If God is your co-pilot...change seats!”
I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Jesus has changed worse cases. I should know.
