Hell yes! If I wanted freezing weather, I wouldn’t live in Texas!

But Upstate NY doesn’t have morons driving, and we don’t have the equipment for even a 15” snow fall, no less back to back snow falls as [large as] this.

Well, we have no shortage of idiot drivers here in NY. And the inexperienced drivers of MD are not quite as bad as you may like to think, Hon.

I lived in Blair, MD for ~12 years until '98. (Nothing was better than listening to Jon Miller and Joe Angel broadcast O's games from Memorial Stadium.) Commuted to DC for 3 years - 90+ miles one way - so I've seen quite a bit when it comes to MD roadways, and I think I have a good idea what it's like there.

I was even there the weekend before last driving around in the midst of that fine snowfall.

This much I will concede - MD drivers who drop big $ on their expensive 4WD SUVs are oblivious to the fact that brakes on ALL cars are all 4 wheels - and that being able to "go" doesn't mean being able to stop any better than anyone else. I must say, it does my heart good to see a maniac driver run the side of his Lexus along a guardrail.

As for snow equipment, in all my time there I have never been unable to get somewhere because the roads hadn't been plowed.

Stop in and have a cup of coffee at the Bel-Loc diner for me sometime.

As long as Congress can’t meet we’re safer.

I was just telling someone that last night. I’d like to see twenty feet of snow centered on DC. It would be like asking DC. “Can you hear me now?”

38 days and 7 hours until it is spring.

Just be careful and tell the kids, those small brown round thingies are NOT chocolate eggs.

Message received re Bel-Loc if I make it up there, and agree, "it does my heart good to see a maniac driver run the side of his Lexus along a guardrail".

Hey, take care down there in the DC area. You guys are getting all of OUR snow this year! ;-)

We haven't had much snow so far this year, although we're expecting anywhere from 6-10" today. Which I realize is nothing compared to what the DC area has been slammed with this winter...

Every snowflake is a miracle from God.

So is every sunbeam,every blade of grass,every flower...you know,the things associated with.....spring?
Bring on those miracles,please!!!

Thanks for the well wishes. First the progressives hammer us, then Mother Nature does the same. But with Mother Nature at least we’ll get over it.
