"Oh, Canada" is sung EXACTLY the way it was written and intended.

I remember usually they start singing it in English, then the middle in French, then back to English at the end.

Oh Canada brings back a lot of memories. When I lived in Denver back in the late 70’s I used to organize groups for Colorado Rockies games. We would get off from work and meet at Zangs, a micro brewery where their “Snappy” beer was sold for 25 cents a longneck on hockey night. After we’d have a bunch of those, they would load us up in these 2 school busses and haul us over to McNichols Arena hanging out the windows singing -— Oh Canada. Ah, the good ole days. On nights they played the Bruins, Flyers, or Red Wings, we’d take off from work early and go over to this guys house and watch “Slap Shot”, then go to Zangs.
