The Film Industry was still very young then.

And Pinnochio was only the 2nd Full length Feature ANIMATED Film (after Snow White) so it was a totally new and crazy thing at the time. People still weren’t sure such a thing was even viable as an art form!

Those were the days when Disney was really GOOD!
