I agree COMPLETELY.
What's with having way over on the east coast where it costs us a small fortune in travel and lodging.
That's total unfair, it should have been held in Kansas, closer for everyone.
PLUS it should be held in a 100,000 person arena, so that everyone who wanted to attend could, and not just those who are fortunate enough to get at the front of the line.
Nothing precludes you from organizing as many events at you want. Why don’t you talk about that instead of attacking this event.
I agree with you, Balding Eagle.
Should’ve been held in Colorado!
It wasn’t on the east coast. It was in Nashville, TN.
“That’s total unfair, it should have been held in Kansas, closer for everyone.”
What a moronic statement.
Calculate the population within a days drive of Nashville, with that of Kansas.
Nashville is a good day’s driving from the east coast.
I should know. I was from Memphis. We took 2 days driving to the beaches in the Carolinas.
Tennessee is also a great Republican state.
We did not even vote for the Goreon moron, and it is his home state!
The convention was in Tennessee. Who knew that state was on the east coast.
LOL - I envy your wit!
This is not the only National Tea Party, this is just one of many, mid west and north and west, to follow.
Also, if you read the Politico story and check the names mentioned they all have history of not being happy. James Tomasik ran in 2008 on the Democrat ticket, even though he said he was a Conservative, because he doesn’t like Rep. Blackburn.
Sarah Palin gave back her fee to the cause. End of discussion.
Plus the tickets were $550 for the week. Go to a convention in the business world for $550 week.
Come on FReepers, do some research before you talk.
And I agree with you Completely. The same type of ‘venue’ was held in St. Louis last nite. Cost around $200 to ‘see’ Glenn Beck, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum (couldn’t make it...inclement weather) and a couple of others. I’m all for making money but not to the point where everyday Americans, who STARTED this movement to begin with, are now being shut out. Further more, these people have the resources available to them while most of us have been hit hard in the past year. (just mho)
