I looked up a Bull Mastiff. It's a very large dog. Sounds like a variation of the Grizzly Man?

A Slovenian who saved his three dogs from being put down for attacking humans was himself mauled to death by them...Proof that God has a sense of humor!

Where is Chet99 and his cheerleaders to demand the “final solution” for all Bull Mastiffs (and the hundreds/thousands of other large, powerful breeds)?
If a Pitbull can kill you, a Bull Mastiff can bite your head clean off. Better get that legislation started.
Dogs rarely “just snap.” There is usually a long history of abuse leading up to the attack. Dogs are rarely psychotic, and most want nothing more than to be friends.

After his (dog owner) death, an opposition party said the agriculture minister should resign for failing to stop the dogs from being released. I don't see why. The owner made the decision to fight to keep his dogs. It was his choice. One can't protect everyone from their own bad choices.

Keep this in mind the next time you hear someone blubbering about having to put their dog down. Dogs are animals, not people. Way too many people forget that, apparently including this guy.

“I looked up a Bull Mastiff. It’s a very large dog.”
Yes they are. Two things this doctor should have remembered as a dog owner.
1) If you own potentially dangerous dogs, you’d better understand dog training and dog psychology. In particular, you’d better make sure you’re the pack leader.
2) More than one dog in a household is inherently more risky, as you’ll likely see pack behavior. Note how many recent serious attacks have involved several dogs.

My next door neighbors have 2 of these dogs. 200 pounds but they are gentle, slow moving dogs, don’t live very long 8 years max.
