Kahr PM9 vrs Glock G26 - opinions please
It hasn’t been released yet...but take a look at the Boberg XR9.

#1 read the manual.
whichever you choose, put 200 rounds though it before you cary it. Breakin is critical when your life depends on flawless function.
My wife has a PM9 and I have a Glock 36.
That said, if I had to do it over I would have went with the Glock 26. The 36 is supposed to be CCW friendly but is still a big piece to carry around and is not very comfortable.
I wouldn’t want to be on the business end of a .40 or .45
I’ve seen a number of comments on the Kahr related to its need for a thorough break-in; that’s something to think about in a concealed-carry piece. If the Glock 26 (which is a bit larger than the Kahr) is acceptable, I’d be looking at that first - and also the Sig P239. The latter is a single-stack, so should be a bit slimmer than the Glock. The .40 model can fire .357 Sig with a simple barrel swap. But if 9x19 is your caliber, it’s available.
The one that fits you the best.
As much as I dislike tupperware guns, I would say go with the Glock. I have known people who have had problems with the Kahr, though not the specific one you mention. Glocks work. They may be ugly as heck, but they work.
Forget the 9mm, go .45 ACP. Check out the Kimber Ultra or Springfield XD in 45 ACP. If it has to be a 9mm, go with + p ammo....
..best advice ever...post #26...the one that fits you best
A man after my own heart. ;-) 1911 .45ACP: there is no substitute. For concealed carry, though: the Kimber UltraCarry II.
No fan of the Kahr here...especially considering the price. You usually can’t go wrong with Glock. Personally, I carry the S&W M&P 9mm compact with the Crimson Trace laser grip (which installs in the interchangeable backstrap slot....too easy). If you want to spend a little more, the H&K P2000SK (sub compact) is a nice weapon (@ $800+), although only 10+1 in 9mm. I love having “dilemmas” like this!
Check out the Ruger LCP .380 and the Taurus TCP. Nice little guns you can carry in summer shorts in a pocket holster. Only weigh 10 ounces.
Which is the better sub-compact 9mm
I have a Ruger LCP but it is very hard to get shots on target. It has a long trigger pull.....one of the reasons I only use it for summer carry in my shorts when a Kimber 1911 would be too big.
I don't know how I would rate your, but I love mine.
I was a little disappointed at first that it didn't have a decocker, but I carry it locked in a pocket-holster so it doesn't matter.
