“Attempted insults” is right. Most of the Lost Causers seem to occupy a level of wit that makes Larry the Cable Guy sound like part of the Algonquin Round Table.
You realize that now you have to explain to them what the Algonquin Round Table was? Otherwise they’re going to assume you’re talking about King Arthur and they’ll be going, “What the f*ck?”
Well when you can’t rebut your opponent on the facts resulting to petty insults is always an interesting strategy.
