Firefox is excellent. You can also get rid of Adobe. Foxit is faster and better PDF reader.

What operating system are you using? In Vista, most stuff sucks.

Foxit is faster and better PDF reader.

Check out PDF-Viewer [freeware]. It even allowed some editing of existing PDF files, and it loads faster than Abode.
