Saints fans in the Dome that day will tell you the calls were going against the Saints.
A couple of touchdowns were scored on bad 3rd down calls against the Saints.
It happens. The Saints O overcame some of the mistakes by our own D, Bush and the questionable bad calls by the refs. See game film.
Favre BLEW IT. Many fans were packing it in on that last drive committing on what a wonderful year it was.

A coin toss went the way of the Saints. Must have been a fix when your guys got to call it. May have been a different outcome had Allan called it correct.
The 1st and 10 PI was a bad call. It would have been 2nd and 10. Bad call by the refs but not overturned upstairs.
Many would stake their life on it that Brees would have gotten them out of a 2nd and 10. Did it all year. Consider the Redskin game.
How did the refs fix it so Hartley would attempt a 40 yard FG? Most Saints fans had little to no faith he could actually hit it. Place was silent, he did. NO FIX!!!, no thumb on the scale.

4 obvious bad calls in a row and you blind yourself to the truth. Whatever gets you through the night.
The thumb is on the scale. I am hoping the Colts blast the Refaints out of the stadium. They won’t make the mistakes the Vikings did. The Refaints will be exposed as a mediocre but lucky team, aided by the NFL front office directives for the entire year. Of course, we can compare the recovery of the entire Mexican Gulf coast (apx. 500,000 people) from 2 Hurricanes (9 months to complete reconstruction) to the whiners in NOLA (4 years and apx. 300,000 people). The Refaints reflect their population — whiners who need an elbow on the scale constantly.
The Giants a few years ago also stumbled their way into and through a SB win.
I suspect and hope the Colts expose the Refaints for the mediocre team they really are.
