I "ALSO" saw a few roughing the passer "no calls" on the Saints QB and a few "no calls" for penalties committed by the Vikings on other plays too.

Did any of those missed calls you saw result in a $20,000 fine and the NFL now acknowledging a penalty should have been called?  Report: McCray fined for illegal hits

Like I said, there were BLOWN CALLS for BOTH TEAMS. I don't think the officials were in the tank for either team.

Also like I said, all that needed to happen was for Farve to run FIVE stinking yards and I/We wouldn't be hearing from ANY of you.

You would all be talking about how great and smart Farve is. Instead, your QB blew it and you are left to whine about the officiating.

Get over it. The Vikings LOST.

So?

And your point?

I got a few questions for you...

Did Bret Farve throw an INT at the end of regulation to send the game into over time?

Did the Vikings fumble the ball consistantly?

Did the official in the end zone try to say that an obvious Saints TD wasn't one?

Look, all I am saying is that the officials were inconsistent at best for BOTH teams. Even to go so far as to miss a call that resulted in a hefty fine.

In the end it doesn't change the fact that the Vikings had a chance to win the game and didn't. The Saints had the chance to win the game and DID.

Period.

Get over it. Let it go. There's always next year!

>>The Viqueens lost because they played like crap not because of the officials.<<

Close.

The phase should be “The Viqueens lost because they played like crap AND because of the officials.”

You have to admit it was amazing they stayed in the game with all their goofs. I suspect the Refaints are going to get their bells rung this Sunday.

No. I had it right. The Viqueens choked. It has no bearing on the Super Bowl. I sense your have a thirst for revenge since just about every post you make says “we wuz robbed” and then “the Refraints will get waxed”. If the Saints lose they will still be like the Viqueens...no Super Bowl championships. In the case of the Viqueens, their best chance to win one just passed.

No, I really don’t have a dog in this fight. But the integrity of the game is in question and that is bigger than this single event. It has nothing to do with who was playing and, had “my team” (a small predilection, I don’t have a team) won I would have still made the same observations about the clearly bad officiating. So bad that it is impossible for it to be just mistakes.

You keep focusing on the outcome. I am concerned about the process.

RE: But the integrity of the game is in question

No its not. But your reputation is, with all your whining and crying. That will change when you stop acting like a two year old.

God, you are really invested in this. If it is OK to accept cheating help, then you can enjoy your “victory.”

Far be it from me to stand between you and — uh, whatever it is you think you are accomplishing. Lots of life works on a sly wink, no reason for the NFL to be any different.

You are REALLY invested in this. Truth, reason, anything doesn’t matter to you. Is it your hatred for Favre or your love for the Refaints?

Either way, you are REALLY invested in this having been anything other than what is was. Man, self-delusion is so not pretty...

LOL

RE: Truth, reason, anything doesn’t matter to you.

I already told you the truth. In your childish tantrums you can't accept it. The Queens lost because they choked, and you are acting like a spoiled two year old blaming everyone else.

Watching your behavior has reminded me of another reason I treasured my Army career. I didn't have to listen to sissified panty-wastes like you whining about how unfair life is. Grow a pair.

You clearly have a reading and comprehension problem. I have been crystal clear that this was a case of the refs purposely blowing the calls on purpose AND I didn’t care who won. The fact that this proper conclusion clashes with your either love or hate has nothing to do with me. It is you that is throwing temper tantrums like a 2 year old “THEY DID TOO WIN WITHOUT HELP! WHO ARE YOU GOING TO BELIEVE, ME OR YOUR LYING EYES!?”

God, if you acted like this in the Army, you would have spent your entire life in KP (or whatever).

You are the child here — you can’t handle a simple truth. Like I said, you are invested in this WAY more than is needed. You are borderline psychotic on the matter.

Dude, get some professional help.

RE: I have been crystal clear that this was a case of the refs purposely blowing the calls on purpose

And hence why I posted the Red Foreman "dumbass" picture. I could care less about Farve, the Saints or the Viqueens (although I do laugh at Viqueens fan silliness). What I am pointing out is folks that act like self-indulgent, whining, aggrieved, wimps acting like liberals on a conservative site. The Queens lost the game by choking, without the help of the NFL, and you continue to make yourself look like an ass with your whining.

Would you rather they go with the college system, which STARTS the teams in field goal range?

Yes. There's no way to spin an overtime where only one team has a possession, and the game can be won with only one team having a chance to score. You can make all the same arguments about baseball. So, if the visiting team scores in the top of the tenth, game over.

You could use a sudden death scenario in any sport where ties are broken. In tennis, flip a coin and the first player to win a game is the winner. Or the first player who wins a point.
