I am not going to hold my breath. As we have seen with the climategate scandle these universities are constantly coming up with one scam or another to get government grants. The energy that algae uses to grow comes from the sun and the CO2 essential for all plant life comes from the atmosphere. Is a shallow pool full of green water going to harness more energy from the sun and be able to absorb more CO2 from the atmosphere than a field of corn? Somehow from a common sense standpoint I doubt it. We all know what a fiasco using corn for “biofuels” is. This most likely will prove to be a huge waste of money, time, land and water.
