you weren’t kidding about wearing purple. are you going to get a pair in orange now?
i could not make those little square boxes if i tried, but they always end up replacing the phonetic symbols! i tried to find online the line from the mark steyn article that made me want to use this word, something about sliding from the slough of despair into the pit of despond.
There’s a Gonzaga game this afternoon after school. lavender sweater with quilted lavender jacket over it and my outercoat is royal purp : ) not remotely considering orange but the lime green ones look good to me....
Responsibilities, he tries to slough
But now he’s acting all rough and tough
I will “fight for the people”
(Turn them back in to sheeple)
Hey, Barry, enough is enough

yankees awake to sanity

lay claim upon their liberty
and slough at last the kennedys
how is that particular meaning pronounced? A+++ for the extra definition.
well........purple and orange are opposites on the color wheel......so just get an orange scarf and add it to your ensemble for next year!
A++ shed them like a scaly snakeskin, hallelujah!
The pronunciations of "cough" and "slough" are slightly different ("off" versus "cuff").
we shall wait and see if any orange sneaks on into my wardrobe! the BIL arrived safe and sound from the tundra land, he lives up in Marcy, NY, if you are familiar with it? he was astounded at our snow. they have never seen snow when coming down to visit us, i don’t think. He said it wasn’t until Gettysburg that he started to see it on the side of the road.
You're not old enough to be channeling American Bandstand.
A+++ heard dana on F&F this AM, she sounds fairly certain that they will have to abandon their harebrained scheme to have trials in federal civilian courts, and feels that Holder may take the fall for it. the other shopworn canard is that Gitmo is a RECRUITING tool for al qaida. i scream when i hear that repeated again and again.
