You probably get hummers before we do in Tennessee. We never see signs until late in April. It slips up quickly too! I will put mine out the first week in April.
Computer speed has improved. Hallelujah!

A Question Of Values
Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2
On a trip through Chicago, I saw a poster advertising a business management seminar. The posters message was intriguing: The Value of a Leader Is Directly Proportional to That Leaders Values. The accuracy of that statement struck me. What we value shapes our characterand will ultimately define how we lead, or whether we can lead at all. This does not apply only to leaders, however.
For the follower of Christ, values are even more significant. When Paul wrote to the believers at Colosse, he said, Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth (Col. 3:2). His point is that only as we allow our values to be motivated and shaped by the eternal (not the temporal) will we be effective ambassadors of Christ in the world. It is in the understanding that we are pilgrims in this world, not tourists, that we can keep a clear perspective and an undistracted heartand can more effectively serve the Savior.
It has been said that we live in a world that knows the cost of everything but the value of nothing. In this world of the here and now, however, followers of Christ are called to build our values around what lasts forever. To say it another way: The Effectiveness of a Believer Is Directly Proportional to That Believers Values.
O Lord, You see whats in the heart
Theres nothing hid from You,
So help us live the kind of life
Thats honest, good, and true. D. De Haan
Hold tightly to what is eternal, but loosely to what is temporal.

I think Sassy looked strong..I counted up the usual 25 days minimum to fledge looking at the history and think the 12th is the earliet flight date..He surely does need more feathers..but I have no idea if this is normal at this time..
Rain rain...we had 4 and a half inches last week..I am ready for a warm sunny day!
I hope I can post this..having trouble again.

Thank you, Conor.
It is a nice poem. I would have used it yesterday because of the dense fog here but since it was WF Wednesday, I saved it for today. Not as foggy this morning. Another storm is on the way.
Have a Happy, Happy Thursday.

Thank you for the lovely message this morning, Rus. The statement below from the message is really quite a statement, isn't it?
It has been said that we live in a world that knows the cost of everything but the value of nothing.
And isn't that the truth??
