maybe not for YOUR generation...but for a lot of young people she’s incredibly influential. AND she, along with Barack Obama, recently spoke at a Homosexual Activism march in DC. Gaga promised to use her music and stature to fight for the LGBT community.

I found an article on FR a few days about a young girl in England who died accidentally hanging herself while she was dancing to Lady Gaga’s music. So yes, not saying Lady Gaga had anything to do with the girls’ actual death (obviously) but it’s an eerie reminder about how young much of her audience really is.

I came of age during the punk era and I turned out okay even though that was Satanic, too. Every generation says that about the younger generation’s music and every generation thinks that their younger generation is so much “worse” than the one before. My grandparents thought Elvis was sent from Satan. Turns out, he was a nice Christian boy. Heck, I still listen to punk, about half of it Christian.
