HYDROGEN PEROXIDE INHALATION FOR C.O.P.D. / LUNG ISSUES

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE INHALATION FOR C.O.P.D. / LUNG ISSUES

I have been using assisted oxygen for the past five or six years. Lately I have been getting fed up with it because my health has been slowly deteriorating.

A couple of months ago I bought a 20 MHz Sweep/Function Generator, a Model GB-4000. It is another fantastic machine but as far as helping my shortness of breath. It did some, but just not enough. If I wanted to go outside of the house I still needed to carry oxygen in a tank and be darn sure that I didn't run short, i.e., carry extra tanks everywhere.

I also have a nebulizer, it's a little machine that creates fog from liquids. I tried putting an ounce of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide in it and inhaling it. Not much of a difference. Maybe 10 minutes of relief from the air hose.

Yesterday afternoon I took a small bottle, it previously had lens cleaner in it, and filled it with 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. Then I sprayed the H202 into my mouth as I inhaled, as deeply as I could. Three sprays. I haven't had my air hose on for 45 minutes and I am feeling just fine! At one hour I was tempted to put the air hose back on but instead I gave myself one more spray. The effect is the same as if I had put the hose on.

Here I am at 2 hours and going to spray again. Again, one spray and the effect is the same as if I had put the air hose on.

Folks, I may just be returning my air concentrator to the Rental company in a week or two or just using it for sleeping.

When I think of all the specialists that I have been to in the past 10 years, it is disgusting to think that not a one of them had the answer to my restricted lifestyle. Of course if the General Practitioner, whose office is around the corner had told me to spray H202 into my mouth to solve the problem none of those other specialists would have earned a dime, would they? Quite the sloppy system that we have got going here!

So, if you or someone in your family comes down with a cough, the flu or God forbid, C.O.P.D. I suggest trying some $1 a bottle, 3% Hydrogen Peroxide to cure your ails BEFORE allowing the licensed doctors to drain your wallet.

Also, I strongly suggest reading this entire website http://www.earthclinic.com because there's lots of wonderful reviews from real people on it. There's even a section for pets!

Yup, I have got a hunch that I am no longer going to be known as the old man with the hose in his nose. LOL"

I’m thinking of buying a colloidal silver generator. It’s easier for me to buy it from my local healthfood store made by a naturopathic doctor though. Colloidal silver is a wonder!

If you know someone with a frequency generator, you can make it by the gallon for pennies.

I’m going to try it with the silver puppy. I brush my dog’s teeth with it. It’s the only thing that stops stinky doggie breath LOL. We use silver dressings at work so I don’t see what the controversey is. Thanks for the tip!

Hi are you still doing the Hydrogen Peroxide inhalations? If so are you using the off the counter 3% from the drug store? How is it working for you?

This is a great thread! Thanks for starting it.

I’m currently struggling with a stubborn chest congestion. Docs hint at COPD and even congestive heart failure. They send me to a cardiologist, I do a stress test, etc. He looks at me and asks, “What are you doing here? There’s nothing wrong with your heart!”

I’m trying everything, including that guaifenesin. Definitely coughing a lot of junk up, but I don’t know if it’s actually getting better or not.

Ordered some “Clear Lungs” and some other expectorant things.

So, this is very interesting and timely.

Thanks again.

C

I've been trying to read up on some holistic alternatives for my dad to use with his nebulizer, specifically Hydrogen Peroxide and Colloidal Silver.

Are there any Freepers out there who know about COPD sufferers who have used any natural treatments to supplement the usual Doctor/Prescription Drug/Steroid Inhalers racket that seems to be the norm?

Also, does anybody know of a COPD sufferer who has tried (adult) stem cell therapy, which might be a promising "new" treatment program? In this case, I'm referring to stem cells harvested from fatty tissue which is surgically removed from the patient himself, and which are then reintroduced into the body.

I'm not satisfied with the results my dad is experiencing using the traditional prescription-based treatments. In his particular case, in addition to shortness of breath, which is treated with oxygen, nebulizers, and inhalers, chronic bronchitis is the main problem caused by his COPD.

Thanks in advance for any advice. Please respond on this thread or Freepmail me with any helpful info.

I don’t know anything specific about COPD, but how is your Dad’s vitamin D3 level? Because he is ill, his blood test for D should have a result over 80, maybe 90. It’s nearly impossible to get enough from the sun. He needs to supplement. If he has never taken any, I’d start with 10,000 units a day. It will take a couple weeks to get a good level in him and at the very least will prevent him catching the respiratory viruses thst are all around this season. But it might really help him in other ways too because we are all deficient in D.

Call me a conspiracy nut, but big pharma is involved in drug trials, etc., and they are definitely not going to help patients get something for nothing. And nih and government research grant departments won’t either. Having said that, years ago, one of my fellow nurses told me she had read a study that found hydrogen peroxide could possibly be a carcinogen. I occasionally rinse my mouth with it half strength, if I develop a sore spot in my mouth. And my ultra whitening toothpaste contains hydrogen peroxide, but my husband’s toothpaste does not, but he uses sensitive teeth toothpaste. And, this sounds gross, but if you have a family member who has poor bathroom hygiene, and gets feces under their fingernails, soaking the nails in hydrogen peroxide will help bubble that stuff out.

It foams up when it hits any organic matter, other than intact skin. I can’t imagine inhaling it. Our lungs have normal flora (good bacteria) in them, in addition to any foreign bacteria that might be invading. I would think that inhaling hydrogen peroxide would cause a great deal of foaming, but chemistry is not my strong suit, and I don’t remember if it releases oxygen as it foams. If it does, then you have your own personal biological oxygen concentrator going on, there. Interesting.

I have a friend who swears by it. So far, I’m not convinced.
