Bob McDonnell, an anti Palin Republican is giving the rebut to the State of the Union tonight.
McDonnell, Christie and Scott Brown all avoided her like a disease in their respective elections.
She has signed a tv deal with FOX. And shes goes on the Oprah show with a 60s hairstyle. And she is going to campaign for McCain. I don't see where she has any plans to come to swing states yet.
What is going on here ? What is the plan ? Where does Sarah stand in all of this ?
Why is the GOP leadership trying to avoid her ?
Hey, you keep this up we might have to start calling you Bob J
She is her own person. I like that about her.
BY THUMBING THEIR NOSES AT GOV. PALIN, THE RNC ARE SIGNING THEEIR OWN DEATH WARRANTS. GO TEA PARTY MOVEMENT!
I am disturbed at how they are treating her and how she is not fighting back.
Bob J and I have clashed several times.
me, I am just more confused than anything at this point.
I agree the national leadership hasn’t been too enthusiastic about Palin, but the successful Republican candidates in states like MA, NJ and VA can’t be blamed for not inviting her in to campaign for them: she’s still too polarizing for their electorates—and they won, anyway.
Like the Dems, the GOP uses its national TV reply opportunities to showcase current its officeholders. Those out of office are not considered.
As to her hair-do, I pass.
Sarah is a very smart politician: she’s staying out of politics.
Have faith, grasshopper! She knows what she’s doing and what she’s up against.
Why is the GOP leadership trying to avoid her ?
Maybe it’s Palin thats doing the avoiding. I think she has made up her mind not to run in 12 or maybe even 16 but rather operate outside of the elective office sphere. That way she can travel the country, not put her family through the rigors of another campaign right now, make good money, develop major contacts, enhance her resume, etc. etc. Elective office isn’t for everyone.
Its all a conspiracy to flood FR with Vanity posts...
Well........There you go again.
McCains his own person too!
Don’t be. Sarah needs to make a living. The Fox News gig will help her do just that. Like any other politician or pundit, she will not always make decisions that you agree with. It’s the nature of the beast.
Exactly.
It is way too early for Sarah to start making any political headway.
The less these pols involve Palin, the better.
Look at her McCain endorsement, for example.
Right or wrong, she faced a firestorm over it.
LOL
Gee, Relax.
Only Democrats attack Palin....Hmmmm
Who cares what the Republican Party is doing? The Tea Party can use the Republican Party any way it wants to. The Republican Party is just a tool for Sarah, conservatives, Libertarians and independents to use. If the old guard wants to get on board, great. If not, so what?
Brown wanted her in Mass. Sarah was the one who didn’t go.
