Romo's not going anywhere.
LOL, I was expecting someone like dfwgator to pounce on me about Romo leaving/not leaving.
The Saints did a good job stripping the ball, too bad the Vikes didn’t get a couple calls and non calls going their way.. but you can’t Review every play .. and they sure reviewed quite a few as is.. AP did pretty good considering
I don’t know how much more Brett can get in shape.. they could have another good year if he stays but they need to draft now.
That's up to your defense......no QB should have been allowed to take the pounding he did yesterday, all the more reason to give him credit where credit is due.
And Algore got more popular votes...what’s your point?
********
The 5 turnovers were a fluke; Vikes never had more than 2 TO all season. Saints would have lost by 30 up in Minnesota.
imho
LOL
Bretts 2 interceptions were no fluke.
re: devastating NFC championship game loss at New Orleans
I would hardly call a three point loss in overtime, after losing a pretty sure shot at a game winning filed goal to a silly penalty, a ‘devastating’ loss. Devastating to me means getting your ass kicked from one end of the field to the other. Winning that game was well within the reach of the Vikings. Like the ref said, it was a new game and anybody’s to win.
As an aside I don’t like seeing a sudden death situation in the OT for a championship game. It’s not a big thing with me, but I think I would prefer to see both teams have a shot at it by virtue of more than the coin toss. Just a minor observation.
My hat’s off to both teams, and especially Favre. That was one hell of game, just the sort of thing you hope for in a playoff or championship game.
Yep. Sanchez stepped up. He has a promising career ahead of him.

I hear ya. No sweat off my brow. I been thru 4 SB losses.
If the NFL wanted to do better, it wouldn’t base the outcome of important games on a coin flip.
Both games delivered as billed.
what 4th ring??? Favres only been to 2, record 1-1
Great to see a 14-2 vs a 13-3 in regular season going for the big win in the Super Bowl.
Maybe next year he’ll be playing for the Bears?
Thanks, I only missed by 2 .:-)
Favre has to win ring numbers 2 and 3 first.
I had Aikman in mind. I think he won 3.
What about the muffs and fumbles by Andre Peterson. He had some real bloopers that did not help the vikings. The Saints were prepared for Bretts last play, because the Saints reviewed Favre’s history of the last quarter and what he did for years with the Packers ( Go Packers - Lambeau Field is the Pilgrimage for the Yoopers). There were miscues and penalties that did not help the Vikings in this game. Best of W9ishes Next Year, Brett do not go through the proverbial BS of retiring and unretiring. stay with the Vikings and strive for next year. Get Peterson some help in holding and keep holding the football. Had the same problem in Green Bay too.
I've pretty much given up on pro football, and by a fluke caught some of that Jets game. I had no idea that Sanchez was their QB - and that he'd done well his rookie season.....he was always kind of on the cusp of losing his starting job at USC.
Yeah, I’m sort of a college football fan myself. Hence the screen name. Something about college ball.
plus Tebow could reunite with Percy Harvin in Minnesota.
