These sure bring back the memories. Turn the speakers up a little to drown out the background noise and enjoy a few minutes of nostalgia.
He was shot.
Did you ever see the Western parody, “The Villain”, with Kirk Douglas as The Villain, “Cactus Jack Slade”, Arnold Schwartzenegger as “Handsome Stranger”, and Ann Margaret as “Charming Jones”. Some pretty funny stuff in there (likening it to a live-action “Roadrunner vs Wile E. Coyote” movie), with supporting actors Jack Elam, Paul Lynde, Ruth Buzzi, Foster Brooks, and Mel Tillis.
I have to say a few words about the Statler Brothers. They are among the best of performers.
He was shot.
It wasn't me, there weren't no witnesses, it was an accident.
I had such crushes on......a very young Clint Eastwood, Sugarfoot, trampas, and Rory Calhoun.
Who shot Liberty Valence ?
Well the old ones were good but you have to admit the modern day westerns have true to life costuming

My Netflix queue is loaded with as many old Westerns and other movies that would play on Saturday afternoon when I was a kid as could find. Favorite old TV shows Too. And my 8-year old son actually loves them. Westerns, War Movies, fantasy adventure like the Sinbad movies, and Jerry Lewis and Abbott & Costello. My favorites then and still are.
His favorite TV shows to watch are Emergency, Adam 12, and my F-Troop & Gilligan's Island DVD sets. Yesterday he watched (twice by his request)Jerry Lewis & Dean Martin in Artist and Models... So I guess all kids aren’t wasting their lives on today's TV smut and gory video games.
I loved it too, but I haven't been able to watch Peter Fonda's sister in a long time. War is hell, ain't it?
Wonderful! My forum name is what Pat Butram called Gene, Mr. Artery. Also, Rocky Lane was the TV voice of Mr. Ed.

“Who shot Liberty Valence ?”
Tom Donovan
LOL, yes! Anyone hasn’t, it’s probably online somewhere. Recommended if you like them with pratfalls and veteran actors obviously having huge fun. IMO better than Roadrunner cartoons, and that’s saying a lot!
Yep, I liked them way more than the Oakridge Boys who's signature song was the horrible Elvira. I even have a Statler Brothers station set up on Pandora so I can listen to them as many hours as I wish.
Although, some say it was Tom Doniphon.
