I'm trying to copy MP3 folders from my Windows 7 music library to a removable USB drive. However, when I drag the folder from the right pane and try to drop it into the drive on the left pain, it only creates a link to the folder. When I right click on the folder, there is no copy command. Any suggestions?
Of course, you could sync the songs from the Windows Media Player to your USB drive; if you need the music in folders, you would have to organize that on the drive.
You’re welcome.
I can Right Click on any folder, anywhere and of any size and a ‘sendto’ option will show in the drop down with the option to send it to .. Wherever I want.
I have even created different locations in the ‘sendto’ option.
All this on Vista 64 and windows seven 64Bits.
For those that are interested:
Go to your “Run” box and type, shell:sendto
Your sendto folder will open and then you can Right Click in the folder to create a shortcut to wherever you wish.
Once you are done, whenever you Right Click on an item, your new location will show in the “Sendto” drop down.
Thanks!
You are so welcome!
