Favre shat away another chance to go to the Super Bowl—how does it feel, Minnie-soh-tans?
For those of you griping about how the refs gave the Saints the game—I had the exact opposite feeling while watching it. A bogus roughing the passer penalty gave the Viqueens their go ahead score early in the game and the Saints had 4 times as many penalties called against them in total. So take your obvious pro-Favre bias and cram it.
If Favre and Childress weren’t so stupid, the Vikes would have kicked a field goal in regulation and won it. Instead, he had to try to be a hero—again.
People love to blame Favre, but Petterson fumbled the game away one too many times.
Favre brought them to the game tonight. Without him, no way they’d be there.
Why can’t Petterson hold on to the ball?
He's got a team full of Pro Bowlers and never turns them loose, always plays a timid, milktoast gameplan.
And STOP giving the ball to "Butterfingers" Peterson.
If he hadn't have fumbled at the close of the first half, the Vikings would have won in a cakewalk.
(Yeah, I know, woulda coulda -- but it was the Vikings who did bad enough that the refs could finish them in overtime. As it is said in politics, if it ain't close, they can't cheat.)
Cheers!
