Here is video of Anderson Cooper and Dr. Sanjay Gupta giving an update on the situation in Haiti.
Cooper opens by showing a clip of himself during an aftershock. He introduced the clip by saying they had just had an aftershock, and they thought they would show viewers what an aftershock looked like. Well, the clip was far less than dramatic. You could barely see anything other than a mild reaction from Cooper.
But the rest of the report shows Dr. Sanjay Gupta getting supplies at the Port-Au-Prince Airport to continue trying to treat people. Gupta said there are many supplies at the airport that have not yet been distributed. . . . (VIDEO)

I took heat for calling cooper a scumbag after he helped that young kid.
Cooper is a narcissistic scumbag.
You got that right. The stuff he pulled in the Katrina coverage, these hyper dramatic reports...it all underscores the fact that there is no journalism anymore. The reporter has merged into, and in fact, overtaken the story itself.
I still think the FNC video of Bill Hemmer trying to enter what was a makeshift “field hospital” in Haiti, where a woman was in labor, may have set the all time low. Why would a reporter think that a woman in labor did not deserve some dignity and privacy? Why? Beacuse it had Emmy Award written all over it.
I see it as him trolling for anus in a 3rd world country, which he has actaully done before.
There was a story where a 12 yr old kid was hit by a thrown brick and suffered a head injury. Cooper was on video of him rushing in to help the kid and pull him out of danger.
“I see it as him trolling for anus in a 3rd world country, which he has actaully done before.”
I haven’t posted my thoughts on that yet but don’t disagree with you. There are hundreds of injured people around him and he rushes in to help the 12 yr old boy. Of course its all on tape.
