I didn't realize Flozell's been in the NFL 13 years! One of the recent games the announcers commented on him playing with so many different QBs at Dallas.

He's an easy target b/c of the false starts he gets called on, prob more miscommunication on the end of the line than anything. Doug Free did a great job this season, but he was overpowered against the Vikes. He'll be a great OT though - he stepped up this season and showed what he can do.

Wade is making steady progress - the current lineup has a tremendous upside, I hope they find the ceiling.

I have heard that Flozell the Hotel is deaf in his ear that is closest to the qb. That may account for the number of false start penalties. Other than that, he’s still a good player.

Flozell is deaf in one ear, and IIRC, it’s the ear towards the QB from his position. While it’s been discussed to move him to the other side of the line, the fact is that nobody else has shown the ability to anchor that position, which is, IMHO, the most critical on the O-line. The guard has linemen to either side on every play. The tackle has to protect against the inside rush and also sweep outside on an outside rush. Most defensive schemes now work harder on confusing the tackle than the guards or center. It’s also the blind side for a right handed quarterback, so a rusher is far more likely to cause a sack or fumble coming from that direction.
