That’s all we would expect of you. I live out in the boonies, so it’s pitch-dark out here EVERY night. I have a few motion lights that come on when a racoon waddles by, but the star gazing is always wonderful. :)

Are you familiar with this site? Nicely done with tons of info:

I always joke that I am about 10 miles past the boonies! I can relate to the pitch black and the star gazing is just the best. I really could not tell if my neighbors were shutting off lights... most people here are in bed by then anyway.

My grandchildren live with me and I try to teach them to turn off lights they are not using, etc. but not to save the earth but to save my purse!

I don’t care what y’all do, this is one I’ll just sit out and maintain the status quo.

Nice site, than you; I was not familiar with it. I envy your clear skies. I’m fairly close to a major city and only five miles from a medium sized town, so clear skies are a rare pleasure.
