Well, yes, it does matter.
Adam Kinzinger wouldn’t be the first “Republican” bought and paid for at the start of his political career by special interests.
Secondly, this post is different than the Brown win in Massachusetts. This is a post seeking to build support in order to win in a primary, not the general election. It would seem only fitting and proper in order to actually judge this Kinzinger guy, whom most of us never hear of, by his other Republican contenders. I wonder why that wasn’t done — and so should you.

The article does mention that that are 3 other primary candidates but why would it surprise you that a blog called “Campaign Spot” would focus on the one with the most potential star power in the wake of the Brown victory, especially when he just got a big endorsement.
If you don’t like it why don’t you go to the site of origin and talk and attack the actual author of this article and not the poster if it bothers you so much. BTW I will be looking with baited breath at the numerous other candidate threads that will certainly not mention any other contenders and how you will defend them.
