Is Haiti Now the 51st State? [Vanity]

Has the Haitian government collapsed into oblivion? Is it now represented by gangs with machetes?

Is the United States the defacto government of Haiti today?

Will the United States be the defacto government of Haiti in six months?

Should it be?

An amazingly large percentage of Haitians appear to speak English these days. There was a time they didn't.

Whatever their criminal classes and leadership elites intend, it's pretty clear to most that Haiti's people have made a choice what world they want to be part of.

The Leftwingtards have long criticized our various occupations. This time we would be wise to take Leftwingtard critics down to Port au Prince and hand each of them a D-handled shovel and a wrecking bar.

That'd be a mandatory trip BTW.

Reality is there are plenty of natural resources just waiting to be developed. Natural gas, oil, some gold, silver, lignite/coal ... that could be developed and if the US gets involved, most likely will be.

Yes. For the next decade, Haiti is our 51st state. Like it or not.

It might as well be, no other country so clearly elucidates his vision for the US.

Well...judging by tonights landslide victory, the dems need more voters who are reliant upon them and big government.

But, Lord, I hope not.

"sounds like a future somalia"

They may be a lot of things, but they're hardly an Islamic $hithole like Somalia.

Sad that our Generals have to literally BEG for troops for the Afghanistan operation, and Hatti gets 10,000 troops overnight. What’s with this? Future resources or not, where are our priorities? The media makes it sound worldwide that the USA is slow getting needed help to the people, without mentioning the current dictatorship and lack of adequate infrastructure to allow any help quick access. USA is always to blame and expected to fund all tragedy. Too bad our Senate and Congress didn’t commit their automatic cost of living increases, and travel budget to send. Hell, to set an example, they could all drop their PPO’s and go on a government provided for health care system. Think of the savings, and by the way... will their “Cadillac Plan” be taxed at 40%? Just wondering...
