Yeah, yeah... at what point in the game was it considered over? Early in the 4th, late in the 3rd?

When there are less than 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter and the score is 27-3, it is pretty much over. On 4th down, a running play would not have raised anyone’s ire if the running back broke it for a touchdown. A first down means the game is over and Favre can run out the clock. Throwing a deep ball on that play was a low-class stunt worthy of Buddy Ryan.
