A government school has no business dictating how long a kid’s hair can be

Well, if you believe the schools’ mission is to achieve “self expression” among its students, then your point is spot on. Please consider the alternative mission of teaching students to achieve “self mastery” and your point is 180 degrees off. One of the largest reasons people do not submit their children to public schools is they percieve the public schools have devolved into nothing more than a “baby sitting service” that revells in self expression and self esteem. I pay tuition so that my son will achieve “self mastery” and can then lead a productive and individual life of meaning. The problem here is the father is teaching his son to be a self expressive little turd. This is unfair to the son. Let him blend in so that he (the son) can chose what he wants to become, not the father. Shoosh.

Similarly you personally should stop advocating that nuns and Jews be burned in pile in the street. Really, it's offensive equalitybeforethelaw.

We know you say that because you don't like hair and the Nazis wore short hair.

Since you just took a phrase in Sloths post, and insisted that it means something he didn't say which could be offensive, then you have set the standard in which it is perfectly okay for me or anyone else to do the same.

That's your version of debate and we are all perfectly willing to do it your way, well except the Nuns and the Jews.

You want to debate whether or not your post did what I just accused you of?

I am up to it.

I deny that either of these is a reasonable goal for government schools. The goal, if there must be one at all, should be imparting academic knowledge & skills, like arithmetic. I do not see where hair length has any bearing on that. Self-mastery should be taught by parents.
