Printing money will ZOT all our economic problems!
ME of course! | k Moriens

Posted on 01/12/2010 12:23:04 PM PST by kylemoriens

Hi everyone! I just started blogging here and I thought I'd share my thoughts on the economy. But first about myself, Im 17 years old and live in Pawtucket Rode Island. I make a living as a profesional printer after I quit school and invented a revolutionary way to make money without working. I print it! YES! I can't believe no one ever thought of it before! I thought it up a year ago after I got fired from Wendys. I needed a quick way to make money so I printed it out on my computer using a scanner. I scan a 10 dollar or 20 dollar bill and tada! Free money! I think I will get the noble peace price for inventing this! Free money! With this we can end homelessness, poverty starvation ETC and no one will have to work ever again! I even quit school to get more involved in my job! I just sit in my room printing out wads of money then I go shopping with it! By having the government by big printing presses and printing money we can solve our economic problems! We can keep Social Security, have welfare, even the rich wont have to worry about paying taxes like they do now that Democrats are back in power! I propose printing 1 billion dollars to every one who lost their home in the forclosure scandal under Bush and another few billion for all the homeless and unemployed! Yipee! Our problems are over!

I need divine intervention for both Whitney and the frazzled grandparents.

Prayers up!

Could this be because I’ve been reading sion’s hair-curling escapades overseas, or Bob’s hair-curling exploits in his books?

Must be the latter 'cuz I haven't been overseas in, oh, many many weeks. (Months even.) Curls? Send photos. When I had my beard shorn Tuesday I got rid of curls, but they'll be back.

But I will be overseas again in about 33 hours. In Paris, with my French-speaking bride of decades waiting for me! *\:^)

Poor gal -- she used to be the world-traveler but now I am the seasoned one, knowing just what to take on these jaunts. (Gosh -- the last time she went overseas with me was to Cairo in 2007! But she might come with me to Zurich this September.)

I just had another trip overseas added to my schedule today. The travel still needs formal approval, but I was accepted as a speaker at a conference in Frankfurt in April.

So, it looks like this year abroad will be: Paris, Frankfurt and Zurich. Already not going to Sydney, but I'll catch up with that committee next year in Tempe or Scottsdale or wherever the U.S. delegation decides to play host.

How are you today?

and if I’m overweight it’s because I overeat.

Overweight? You're overcritical, methinks!

I, on the other hand...

You should have attended some of our dinner meetings. I get all my ideas from his exploits, but I'm not supposed to let LoM know.

LOL. I did all THAT? I guess it's time for that Alt-timers test 'cuz I remember none of it... *\:^|

Never finished the trebuchet game. Seems the Flash player for my Linux system was poorly written and ran slow. If I tried to launch any bombs they always went off right after leaving the sling. Useless. And you NEED the bombs to flatten Castle 21 (?).

Maybe it will work better on this Linux version, though it's not acting especially stably. I may have to re-install when I get back.

As for Crush the Castle players pack, my machine is too slow and small for it.
*sigh*

Them Coconuts has a bizarre tune to it, made me laugh.
The game itself is fairly lame.

It's not too bad. I partitioned the hard drive in a way that a new OS installation should be rather simple and not affect my "user data."

Did that on the previous drive too, but when the drive itself decides to fail... oh well.

I might download and try Linux Mint -- all the multimedia capabilities already built in.

I left the sound off so I didn’t hear it, but when the police car entered the game, well...

we skipped having children and went directly to having two wonderful grandchildren

Coming from you, that makes perfect sense.

I’m looking into having some backup copies made of myself.
Probably some laws against that somewhere.

“Lady Redundant Woman,” a villainess on “Word Girl,” makes copies of herself.

Opening lyrics “I took their smiles and I made them MINE.”
Now, apply that line to the medic Spiderbot EVA who did the SLAVER incident.
Creepy?

RedHat was good in the earlier days, '98 - '00, but whatever business model they are following left me behind years ago. It was difficult in some ways because I am forever running it on under-powered machines and I've switched distros a little, with a jaunt into SuSE (not bad), but Ubuntu and friends seems to have it worked out best. Today.

Ubuntu (Mac-like) and Kubuntu (Win-like) work pretty well but I use Xubuntu because its desktop works faster on older hardware.
