You know, you can fight that fight, and may ultimately win, but in the meantime it will cost you considerable time and possibly some money, and during this process your photos won't be on the 'net.

I suggest a dual approach, then. Put your photos on your own ISP's server so they're available on the web, and take up the matter with Photobucket.

What you say is true. In real life I lack the resources to fight this in any significant way. But certainly it is worth a bit of research and communication to exert some influence on them. That's what I'm doing here.
