SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Rep. Christine Johnson will serve an additional role when the Utah Legislature convenes this month. The lesbian lawmaker announced she's a surrogate mother, carrying a baby for two gay men.
Johnson, D-Salt Lake City, said she decided to become artificially impregnated with sperm from one of the men after the two close friends expressed frustration over the difficulty of adopting a child.
Utah law prohibits unmarried couples from adopting and does not recognize gay marriage.....

Instead of every child being given the God-given default advantage of heterosexual parents— Mother and Father—even if one or the other is not on the ‘scene’...we tinker with all this nonsense to prop up the vain yearnings of homosexuals to try and mimic procreative normalcy.
I am in support of gay civil unions—but not gay marriage and ABSOLUTELY NOT gay adoption of innocent human beings who in all statistical likelihood (97%) are themselves heterosexually wired and require the behavorial modeling of a opposite sex parents in order to navigate in this (gasp) HETEROSEXUALLY PROCREATIVE WORLD.
To disrupt literally millions of years of a complex procreative system for this CRAP, enflames me no end.

What a freaky dysfunctional life this poor little child was born into. The mother is an “aunt” and baby has two daddies and no mama and then has to explain it to he/her school friends who have already been conditioned through tax payer school that this is all normal. God help us and this little child.

Perhaps you are an atheist, perhaps you are very young.
I come from a generation where all the children I grew up with had a mom and a dad—divorce was so rare as to be a head scratching shocker, as in what? your mom and dad divorced?
Queers, lesbians, cross dressers, transgendered, bi-sexual—whatever. We called them and they considered themselves to be perverts. They hung out in pervert magnets, public bathrooms, underpasses, remote bridges, XXX movie theaters, and tended to prey on children who may stumble their way.
Civil unions. That’s kind of like endorsing the “homeless” isn’t it? We used to call them bums. And they were bums. “Homeless” people are merely individuals who have severed every family and friendship tie—no one is willing to carry them any longer. They abused the trust and exhausted all sympathy for their self-destructive behaviors.
Civil unions—some of the most violent, unstable, and desperately unhappy people I have met were queers, male and female. Drugged up and drunk, they formerly stayed under the radar, they had yet to proclaim their demand for equal legitimacy with “normal” people.
This is a political movement—queers stridently demanding that deviancy be respected at the end of a gun—police state power enforced by the happy go lucky powers that now control all three branches of government, institutions, foundations, industry, media, academia and education.
Civil unions. You support it?
Say goodbye my friend. You are toast.
Keep supporting civil unions though—it makes you modern and sensitive and unfortunately, stupid.

What I’m wondering is this, if they can’t adopt a baby, how do they expect to get this baby into their home as their child?
