His military record makes me hopeful; a liberal would not have lasted this long in the military.

However, that he is currently and willingly serving an illegal commander in chief makes me a little uncomfortable. I would be happier if he were to address the issue in the way that Major Stefan Cook and Captain Connie Rhodes have; for now, these are the only two officers in our military that have my full respect for standing up to the Kenyan in Chief.

Tell that to Wesley Clark.

Oh, so now it's maybe Gen. David Petraeus Republican Nominee for US President 2012? So much for standing behind your choice.

Yeah. Here's a transcript of the hearing last September. It's hard to tell who comes across looking like the bigger idiot - the plaintiff or her attorney.

Ever hear of Colin Powell, Wesley Clark, Joe Sestek or the current Army Chief of Staff George Casey, Jr. (diversity is our most important asset).

Have you ever been in the military? I have and a number of career officers are big-time liberals.

That is an incorrect assertion and please don't fall into the trap of thinking that the military is no place for liberals. Some liberal shitbirds can fly really high at the Pentagon.

As for Petraeus, I have no clue as to his philosophy... and that is completely proper. And I assume that he has little use or respect for idiots like PIAPS and Obama, who called him a liar during the Democratic Senate's "surge" show trial. I can respect a real leader. And a real man would be a vast improvement over the femme drug addict currently in the White House.

How about Petraeus/Honore heading up the "Stop Yer Bitching, America" party ticket? Two honorable and decent leaders that can tell this country's whiners to just STFU. Might be the only cure for this sick nation's malaise.

Your statement is generally true, but there have been some notable exceptions. Admiral William Crowe was a big Clinton supporter; General Wesley Clark is a flaming liberal; even John Glenn was a Democrat. Probably a few more who’s names escape me at the moment.
