copy and paste the html code from your photobucket. Starts with <a href
Make sure it is still plugged in then pour water over the keyboard (and into the big box with the lights on it if it is a desktop rather than a notebook computer.)
Once you let the smoke out of the computer chips inside the box it ought to function much more predictably.

You are trying to post a pic from your hard drive. Try to find a picture using google images. Once you get to a picture, right click on the picture, which gives you a menu to choose from. Choose “properties” which causes a new screen to pop up and will give you the url address for that picture. Copy this URL ADDRESS into the following:
< img src= “URL ADDRESS” >
Remove the space after the first angle bracket, and the space before the last angle bracket. When you hit preview, you should see your picture. If you don’t, you’ve done something wrong.
see post 47. copy and paste the third box down.
There is a difference between dumb (stupid) and ignorant. We are helping a person who is ignorant (does not know).

lots of helpful info. thanks.
Also when you do a preview prior to hitting the post button what you see is what will post. In other words if the picture isn’t showing up when you do preview then it won’t post when you hit post. Keep hitting preview and correcting your html until the photo shows up, then hit post.
Though, for future reference, use this URL...
