Wasnt Reinberger courtmartialled and executed when he was returned to Germany?One time I accidently parked in the managing partner's spot at the CPA firm I worked at. A supervisor noticed and said, "Whoa! CLM!. I then learned that CLM stands for Career Limiting Move. I'll bet Reinberger was thinking the German equivalent of "CLM!," when he found that he had survived the crash landing.

Lol. I think you are right. Apparently Reinberger, during interrogation, had grabbed the papers again that were sitting on the table and threw them in the fire. They were quickly retrieved. Then he went for the interrogator’s gun supposedly with the intent of shooting himself. He might have just as well parked in Hitler’s spot.

"motti"="mottis"
I was in a hurry to post that and I didn't adequately edit that.

A mottis was also a great place to use the Finns' other anti tank weapon system. That was a Finn, his skis and the "cocktail" they so generously named after the then Foreign Minister of the Soviet Union, Vyacheslav Molotov. Any tanker gets the cold sweats when thinking about burning gas on the rear deck. Russians, with the notoriously leaky Soviet tanks, really get the willies.
Only a couple of prototype Lahti 20mm elephant guns saw service in the winter war.
