The Shawshank Redemption was turgid - plodding ... too long. It picked up towards the end and ended good though.
I would possibly agree with that.
I saw Shawshank for the first time ever just a few months ago.
I will watch it again to be sure, although I did not feel bored while watching it as I did when I watched “Master and Commander”, quite possibly the most boring and obnoxious movie that I have ever seen.
