Note: Former Lynn mayor Patrick McManus wanted to run for his old office but suddenly died. Judith Flanagan Kennedy--yup, the initials are J.F.K. but she's a Republican--ran a sticker campaign and defeated Clancey by about 27 votes.

>>That case has been referred to the attorney general.

Martha Coakley, currently running for Senator. That means nothing will be done. "When you really want to hide something well, just put it in one of Martha Coakley's law books"--Howie Carr

>>Documents weren’t all that was missing, Kennedy alleged. There were no pens, pencils, Post-it notes or paper in the mayor’s office, either. Kennedy, a Republican, unseated the Democrat Clancy as a write-in candidate in rancorous race.

Try not to let this destroy your faith in the integrity of the Democrat party.

BONE DRY: New Lynn Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy stands by one of the file cabinets she claims outgoing Mayor Edward J. ‘Chip’ Clancy cleaned out before vacating his City Hall offices last year.

Since any idiot would know that destroying public records is a crime, I can imagine only that the crimes they were covering up were worse than the crime of destroying public records.

Weeeeeell It all depends. If Former Lynn Mayor Edward J. “Chip” Clancy is a Republican, I am sure that a serious crime has been commited and there should be an investigation and prosecution. However if Former Lynn Mayor Edward J. “Chip” Clancy is a Democrat, I am sure Mayor Kennedy is making a mountain out of a mole hill and this is just a misunderstanding and can be cleared up with a single phone call.

That case has been referred to the attorney general.

The best place to hide evidence of a crime committed in Massachusetts is to hide it under Martha Coakley's nose.

Such is what the ONLY GOP Mayor of a city of any size in MA has to deal with from the corrupt rodentry.
