Foreign Minister Tanner reminds US envoy Arthur Schoenfeld that Finland has captured more materiel as booty from the enemy than she has received in the form of aid from any friendly power.

I said on an earlier thread that if you need a helping hand, the best place to look for one is at the end of your own arm. That Commie in the White House (then, I mean, not the one there now) wouldn't have been too excited about doing anything to damage his buddies in the USSR. I still can't believe the US never declared war against the Finns. Not that we should have, just that it was one of the few things FDR did right.

I think that on the 70th anniversary of the armistice, Finland should turn that griffin back to the way it was and should be facing.
