And here I thought it was a slow news day.

After all, nothing is more important than the help we can give the individual housewife to improve the health of her family and to make her home more comfortable and of greater value to the development of young and old.

Words to live by. I haven't heard from the Bureau of Home Economics lately. I wonder if it is still active.

“Home Economics” is not PC. I think it’s called Family and Consumer Science.

We’ve been loving this “news” lately! As I mentioned in a post a few weeks ago, my wife is of Finnish descent (still has relatives in Finland who visit here, and host our visits on rare occasion, and her mother’s family grew up speaking Finnish) so we are really “pulling for the Finns” here.. Yay! Go, Finland!
