Let’s not spoil a great story by making a movie out of it

Ford would be great, but better yet, why not Sully himself?

Harrison Ford is a pilot. Flies his own helicopter out of Jackson, Wyoming. Used it to find and rescue a lost Boy Scout in bad weather in the wilderness near Yellowstone about nine years ago.

I would have cast Ben Stein . I love old Ben . "We are going in the Hudson , unless someone has a better idea . Anyone ? ........Anyone ?........Anyone ? " Talk about suspense , nobody does it better than Ben .

While I’m not a director or producer of any kind, I am at a bit of a loss how someone turns :3minutes, 3 seconds of drama into a :90 minute movie, and makes it entertaining.

Good grief, the whole thing was maybe ten minutes from start to finish. What possible story could be woven out of that for a two-hour movie?

Yes, but he’s still a liberal asshat. Most recently signed a free Roman Polanski petition as one of his glorious additions to his resume.

They would need to make Obama the Executive Producer...he’s woven a 9 month career in the Senate and a history of voting “present” into becoming the Leader of the Free World (barf)

oh--they can do it... they will start with the main characters in their everyday lives... go into their backgrounds... some of them facing some kind of conflict as they lead into that fateful day... think of Airport '74 and '75... or Earthquake... i think it would be better as a made-for-television movie... it can air on LifeTime... therefore, no Harrison Ford... hmmm--you did say make it entertaining... i'm not so sure about that now that i think about it...

I wonder what class he was in at Fort Wolters and Fort Rucker . He is about the same age as my COs , so I guess we might have flown in Viet Nam around the same time ./sarc/ He is rich boy with rich boy toys , might even do a good deed or two . Please don't compare him with real helicopter pilots who do real autorotations to the ground . WOPA lives .

Flashbacks to each of the passenger’s lives. “Oh God! I swear I’ll never cheat on my husband/wife again if you just let me live!”

They will also have the flashback to when Sully was at his 10th birthday party and he blew out the candles on his cake and wished he would become a pilot.

Most recently signed a free Roman Polanski petition as one of his glorious additions to his resume.

Ford's resume includes the 1988 Polanski-helmed Frantic (which was actually a pretty cool film despite the fact that Polanski was then, as now, a scumbag pedophile fugitive).
