Over all the defense played pretty well. At the end Texas had to take chances and the Tide took advantage, but 7 points at the end of the half weren't on the defense, and when Bama got the ball on the three, that's pretty tough.

I would have liked to have won, and if McCoy played it would have been a different game, but I'm not going to diss Bama. That was a clean hit on McCoy and it happens. The Tide played with class and Texas put up a good fight with a freshman QB. Great game, wish my team had won, but Alabama's the best in the country.

It is so odd to see the replay of McCoy’s injury - nothing stands out as a game ending injury. He even said he’s taken that same hit many times with no problem - He said his arm is numb, so what do you think happened?
