He took the Broncos to two Super Bowls in a row.

"He took the Broncos to two Super Bowls in a row." Do you think he can talk Elway out of retirement, because he didn't win squat without him. Just saying.

I've been a Redskins fan since 1956. Eddie LeBaron was the QB and Joe Kuharich was Head Coach. We've been through a lot of lean years and a few good times. I hope Shanahan can do something with them.

Meanwhile, in more recent history, he’s 1-4 in the playoffs without John Elway and Terrell Davis. 7-9 in 2007, 8-8 in 2008.
Snyder is paying him reportedly up to $10 million a year? Really? Bonehead move. And what’s the point of bringing in Bruce Allen if you’re going to give Shanahan final say over the roster?
This won’t end well.

The Redskins can have him. Elway won those Super Bowls, not Shanahan. Shanahan doesn’t have the ability to adapt from game to game.
