How is this news?

There was a discovery channel show where Aldrin talked about the UFO they saw on their way to the moon, with actual recording of their radio call to NASA about it

IIRC, he has spoken about his UFO interests before. There are other reports from astronauts that have circulated for years. His is one of the more interesting, but he never talked about it except a couple times to friends who related it second hand.

None of the Apollo astronauts I’ve seen have had much positive to say about the following 40 years of space labs with no further manned missions into space. Certainly hasn’t been a stepping stone towards outward travel and colonization.

They put their lives on the line everytime they climbed onboard a rocket. Some died on the pad. Some got hit by lighting after launch. Some orbited the moon but did not make the anticipated landing.
