A man and woman in the US state of Georgia are facing child cruelty charges after using a homemade device to tattoo six of their children.
Patty "Jo Jo" Marsh and Jacob Edward Bartels allegedly used a plastic pen fitted with a piece of guitar string to mark the children, aged 10 to 17.
Unlicensed tattooists and the tattooing of minors are illegal in Georgia.
Ms Marsh told local media she had not done anything wrong and that the children had asked for the tattoos....

Wow based on the exams took in college rate “ABOVE AVERAGE”

Now can I get a tatoo?
CONDOR by 2035
Yes, ask my hubby how you are stuck with those things forever. He’s a former Marine and he did what Marines do. Got the obligatory tatoos. As he grew older and had to be presentable to get and hold a decent job, he started wearing long sleeve shirts. Since he turned 40 nobody outside the immediate family has ever seen his arms. He wears long sleeves on the hottest days of summer. He is embarrassed by the tatoos even though they are not offensive in nature. In later life he has become a pastor and nobody has a clue that he has those things on his arms. He would die before letting anyone see them.
Where do you come up with this stuff?
I'm cursed.
LOL. I am amazed every time a picture is called for, you come up with one. I don’t even know how to post a picture, yet you do it with such ease.
“I’m not breaking the skin. It’s going to fade away, it’s like a pen mark,” she told reporters.
If true, this little detail reduces the “crime” somewhat.
Having somehow avoided the needle in every port city’s hellhole, I can’t remember if I was a prescient young sailor or simply too drunk to tatoo.
tatoos are self expression. they can tell you a story about the person who wears the art and their life and what is important to them. my husband has two tatoos. one is an american flag with an eagle. this represents his love of country and service in the military. the second is a butterfly with a purple banner that says MOM and a bee hovering near. this is a tribute to my mother who passed away december 14th 2009 from pancreatic cancer. the butterfly was her thing and it is done in her favorite colors blue and yellow. the purple banner is for pancreatic cancer awareness and the bee is a play on the fact that her last name started with the letter B. MOM is because he thought of her as his own, rather than an in-law. the night of her funeral a very talented tatoo artist set up his station in the dining room of my mom and dad’s house and started inking up anyone who wanted a tribute tatoo. hubby, both of my brothers and my 17 yr old niece got inked all with a similar theme. my sister in law and nephew both got one a few days later. i was sick at the time and couldn’t get one but i probably will once i have gotten over this near pneumonia thing i have been fighting. some folks think tatoos are to impress other people. not true. they are simply a form of carrying what you love with you for anyone to see. at least that is how i see it.
Wow...I’m sure they’d understand. Nobody should be judged forever based on the worst day of their lives. Sounds like your hubby is a good man...I hope one day he rolls up his sleeves!
