For a few minutes I considered bringing back a case of handheld flares from Vietnam. I thought they would be great on the Fourth of July and New Year. But a 155mm artillery round, now I think that is hubris.

I was scared to death of those big flares,really careful
when I fired one off.

Remember seeing those big shells along the side of the road
where they had fallen off the 2 1/2 tns.Even the g**ks left
them alone.
