Saw this after Damon Lindelof tweeted about it. This guy nails it.
I’m really uncomfortable going to a site called “Slash” anything.
First really funny thing was when he was listing example of movie protagonists by character name, and he calls Kevin Bacon “Kevin Bacon”.
The Empire Strikes Back remains the best Star Wars movie in my opinion, mainly because George Lucas didn’t produce it. He did edit the lastest release however, which just made it worse (in my opinion). Still, he deserves some credit for the original concept. Most people look beyond the sheer special effects when judging how good a movie is.
The review is hilarious! I remember being very dissapointed after watching the ‘new’ star wars movies. Now I know why!
Must be unemployed with time on his hands like all other Mikes in Milwaukee.
Since I already despise Star Wars (”there, I said it” a la Mark Levin), and I don’t have 70 minutes, I will pass. But I am sure he’s right. :)
All three of the prequels sucked, IMHO.
I tried to watch the first segment, as I am sympathetic to his thesis. However, two f-bombs in one minute disqualifies him. Also, it sounds like his voice has been processed for the witness protection program.
I didn’t appreciate the harsh language, but that was stunningly hilarious! I’m embarrassed to say I watched all 7 parts. The guy who put that together was obviously quite talented.
Check out this guy’s reviews on Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan, and the other ones he’s done. Hilarious!

I thought it was a typo when I read a 70 minute review of a 90 minute movie, but having just watched part one, this guy is good. I’m getting ready to go on to part two. BTW, I hope this guy is putting on an act with the way he talks and particularly what he says about his son.
Awesome :)
Time better spent than watching the actual movie.
Should be a must-watch for anyone in the movie industry.
Thanks for sharing.
