This is our last movie review for 1939, since its New York premiere was on New Year’s Eve. This “Hunchback” is a little too grim for Nugent.

I remember being creeped out by this version of The Hunchback as a kid (early ‘60s TV).
By the way, Nugent has a funny way of writing, always using forms of “we” and “us”.
