Bichon Frise needs constant grooming. They are beautiful, when they leave the groomer, but it costs $25 or $30 every time you take them in (every two or three weeks. That kind of cost adds up.)

Knowing me - I would learn how to do it at home - put the dog in the tub, wash, rinse, rinse again, remove from tub, pat down with towel, put on towel covered table, blow dry and brush, and then start with the clipping and trimming. Musn’t forget the toe nails, or cleaning out the anal gland.

On second thought - I’m too old for that crap. I’ll get a cat!

LOL Sounds high maintenance! I told hubby I didn’t want any more dogs when these go.... But...I say that every time we lose one, and I always eventually give in. Sigh Can’t stand to lose them, can’t stand to live without them. I blame it all on my daddy! He’s the same way!
