Thanks for the birthday hugs! I was a great day!!! You all rescue horses? Would love to hear more. I’ve heard on T.V. that with the economy is some people with horses can no longer afford to keep them. It is so sad!

Yes we do. We have 2 horses we just had to keep & their pictures are on my page. One is a 6 yr old Palomino named Sassafrass & the other is a 15 yr old race horse. His name was Poppa's Favorites & they raced him until 2008. When he no longer made money he was taken to the kill pen where he sold for $125 dollars. His new name is Moonie & he is a doll.

Sadly too many people can't afford to feed their horses & they are ending up in the kill pens. When we can we buy them & adopt them out. However it costs so much to get a horse back in shape & time to make sure the horse is rider safe. Right now we don't have any that are adoptable but come spring IF the economy picks up we will be doing more.
