In Dreams by Night or Day
In the quiet of the somber night
my private thoughts drift away
To where all dreams oft play
and I will find an amazing sight
Landscapes as odd as can be
where the most unusual is found
Running so across ocher ground
as if something wild it does flee
Distances shimmer in the haze
and I walk forever over the land
Just me and my odd little band
seeking new lands and open bays
Adventuring in my inner world I
a traveler in this oh so odd place
Far from the perplexing human race
my dreams take me and we fly
Exploring the places I’ll never see
but wished I could for they call so
Where quest is but a thought’s flow
and I seek it so with all I can be
