At midnight I will toast the New Year from my hot tub (outside). And listen to Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.

Happy New Year to you.

Steaks and a movie with the wife and kiddos. After the kids go to bed ... that is not your business. ;)

My Sons will be playing Wii games, and I’ll be playing custom maps on Left 4 Dead.

Blasting away at hoards of zombies to ring in the new year.

My friend is catsitting for a friend, and hosting a low-key evening there. It’s a Manhattan apartment with rooftop access, so it should be fun at midnight!

Mannix? What station? I love Mannix and Rockford Files.

I'll be hunkering down with pizza and Munich and maybe something I've DVR'd that I've forgotten about.

To me it’s just another night, but for those of you who will brave the cold to celebrate, have a safe, healthy and happy New Year!! I’ll be watching Dark Shadows DVDs from Netflix, and as back-ups, I’ve got Volume 6 of The Three Stooges, and Season 4 of Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

I disassembled a Samsung LCD that failed last year and found out that I probably need to replace a couple of bulging caps in order to *maybe* get it running again.

Gr. Now I need to find a soldering iron somewhere.
